About True Lime, True Lemon, and True Orange

Why True Lime, True Lemon, and True Orange?

As empty-nesters, we don’t go through an entire bag of limes or lemons before they go bad. I often need a splash of lime or lemon juice for a recipe and this performs basically the same as an actual lemon or lime or orange.

Does it taste the same as the juice of an actual wedge of fruit?

I haven’t done a blind taste test to compare but I use it in everything from orange creamsicle protein frozen yogurt to guacamole and it tastes excellent.

How are they packaged and how do you use them?

They are sold in boxes of individual packets where each packet is equivalent to one wedge of lime, lemon, or orange. I just sprinkle them in. I think the package says to add water to mix it up first, but I never do. It’s as simple as opening a paper packet and shaking it in.

They also make an orange ginger blend sold in a shaker jar. I use this in my hot tea and it’s delicious.
