About All-Health Advanced Fast Healing Hydrocolloid Gel Bandages
Why these bandages and not cheaper ones?
I had a small spot on my abdomen that was slow to heal after having a drain removed. Hydrocolloid bandages can reduce scarring and make healing go more quickly. I used a few other brands of hydrocolloid bandages but found that they were not truly waterproof.
How do you make sure these stay waterproof?
This is not medical advice, but when I changed these, I used Medline Skintegrity Wound Cleanser and then let the area completely dry and then applied the hydrocolloid bandage. It’s important to not use cream or medication underneath the bandages, because that will prevent them from being waterproof. *I am not a doctor, this is only my experience.*
