About Medline Skintegrity Wound Cleanser
What did I use this for?
After showers, before putting gauze over any parts of my incision that needed extra care, I would spray this wound cleanser. It’s super gentle on skin. Medline Skintegrity wound spray does not damage the healthy tissue. Hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol are commonly used, but they can actually damage the healthy tissue.
I can be a little extra sometimes. And my obsession with preventing post-surgery infection is probably in that category! But for me, in a situation like major surgery and recovery where you have no control, it was helpful to have one thing I could control.
Is this expensive?
This was about $10 and after 2 major surgeries I still have about 80% of the bottle left. It’s great to have around the house for any cuts or abrasions that need to be cleaned out because it doesn’t sting on any raw skin.
