Create blank lines by typing with the spacebar on the lined version.

On the Primary Italics Lined there is a BLANK space for the spacebar. To add a lined section use the vertical bar (|) key. On my keyboard, it is below the backspace and shares a key with the backslash. Your keyboard may be different. This allows you to have both lined and unlined spaces.

KG Primary Penmanship Lined

Powerpoint Users! Use the included NOSPACE version of the lined font. It was designed specifically for teachers who are creating products in Powerpoint. Powerpoint automatically adds an extra lined space next to your words at the end of a line when you save it as a PDF. The NOSPACE version eliminates the extra lined space next to your words.

To create a lined space in the NOSPACE version, use the vertical bar (|) key, not the space bar. It is a separate key. On my keyboard, it shares a key with the backslash \. Hope this helps! 🙂
